My healthier version of pasta lol Chicken Sausage Bolognese with Vegetable Spaghetti. For the bolognese used chicken sausage, tomatoes, red onions, garlic, carrots, balsamic vinegar, sherry wine, olive oil, stevia, and fresh basil. Added a side of wheat garlic toast and man was this meal yummy!!! #healthy #homemade #gourmet #motivatedmeals
His and Her meal preps. We both have different calorie intakes so he gets more protein and carbs than 😫. For this week I did Grilled BBQ Pork Loin with veggies and brown rice. For breakfast he gets turkey bacon, sweet potato hash browns, eggs, and reduced fat cheddar cheese burritos on a spinach tortilla. I have a liquid breakfast which consist of: strawberries, bananas, chocolate protein powder, almond milk, and non fat Greek yogurt. My egg white and turkey bacon breakfast taco with my homemade iced coffee. I make my own iced coffee and put it in a Starbucks tumbler to trick myself into thinking I just got Starbucks lol(yeah I'm cheap but $3 a day of coffee adds up). I used 2tbs of folders instant coffee and let it cool down. I add 2tbs of stevia, two pumps of sugar free caramel, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and ice. My @motivatedmeals tip of the day: To keep this lighter I topped it with my homemade pico de gallo, plain non-fat Greek yogurt, salsa roja, and a sprinkle of reduced fat cheese. All in all this taco is no more than 250cals and best part is that is yummy as hell! #healthy #homemade #gourmet #brunch #breakfast #motivatedmeals

#repost from my other page @motivatedmeals. This is me and my boyfriends weekly meal prep. We both have ground turkey with taco seasoning and brown rice. I increased his portions since he eats more calories than I do. For my veggie I did roasted spaghetti squash, he's not a huge fan of it so I just gave him corn with olive oil butter. This is simple and delicious. The @motivatedmeals tip of the day: if you use store bought seasonings go with low sodium and always garnish with a fresh herb to jazz it up if you can I used parsley. #healthygourmet #mealprep #motivatedmeals #mealprepmonday
I want to give a special shout out to @ririencina years ago before I started my health fitness and food blogging lifestyle I followed her on Instagram. I thought it was so cool that she would post her homemade creations with an awesome balance of healthy food and cheat days! I was inspired by her to find ways to make everyday meals lighter. I learned posting it worked like a food journal, and also was something I can use to hold myself accountable. My hopes in this overall journey is to inspire someone to do the same. Now years later I embark on this my next venture which would be my meal prep food business @motivatedmeals. I'm still doing the legal aspect of it but I'm considering doing it on the side until it truly kicks off. It's been tough I want to devote 100% of my life to it but I have a full time job which gets in the way. At this point I want to do a kick starter or even look to see if people want to invest in it.
