Life’s a weird thing. I grew up being told that you need to go to college, focus on school, and make a lot of money in order to be successful. Everyone has their own vision for success, but that wasn’t mine. Through the last 22 years of life I’ve found a passion, something that makes me want to wake up in the morning. I’ve learned that if you are consistent and work hard enough that passion will be your life. Life is so short and so beautiful, sometimes you just need to take a step back, breathe and do your own thing.
When I was 3, I would wake my family up to the sound of pots and pans that I had made into a drum set. I knew my passion. Music has always been my drive, my love, and my need. When I needed a guitar part for my song and didn’t know any guitar players, I learned to play guitar. From there I found the bass, then piano and any other instrument I could get my hands on. Music is in my soul, it’s my constant comfort and it’s not going anywhere.
