Pretty damn true. when I'm lifting it seems like I look at the time and it's already been an hour and a half but when doing cardio it's the complete opposite.... not cool 😒

Sunday funday!!!! Haha I went earlier anddddd wasn't feeling it at all so left after about 20 minutes. 😳 I went back this evening and felt much more motivated💪🏼 now time to get my meals prepped.

Well if you've been following me this off season you know my main focus has been my chest and arms. It's been easy because well those are pretty much my favorite things to train now. What is hard for me to do is to take a rest day. If I don't go to the gym I kinda feel like I didn't have a productive day because I didn't get into the gym to make them grow... BUT as you know your muscles grow when you're resting. It is just as important to get a good amount of rest and quality rest at that which can be hard 😒 Sooo I took a couple days off and went back to hit some chest and I can tell you it was night and day... I didn't feel like I was weak or like I couldn't get enough reps on the feel a pump. In fact, I had a great pump and was really able to feel it in my muscles as I was working them. I even did it all in a rushed state because it was my moms birthday. 😝 Basically, make sure you get some quality rest and even if you hate rest days like I do sometimes you just have to force yourself to reset so you can get your best workout in every time.

Well you should... 1)BCAAs have been shown to have benefit primarily for recovery post-training, either from muscle damage or fatigue. 2)Given their cost the best way to use them seems to be in a recovery drink mixed with a low dose of carbohydrate. This can be either used during the training session itself (recommended) or post-training. Basically they will only help you out so you should be getting them in if you're not.
