We are self-taught instrumental guitarists from the Mother City, Cape Town!

We both picked up guitars round about the same time (plus-minus 7 years ago).. little did we know that we'd end up collaborating on projects and performing together at numerous events and locations in the years that followed

A.J the Duo has been in existence for 2 years now. During this time we've been busking at the V&A Waterfront and we've also recorded our first album.

We have found our niche by creating our own.. we've mashed up Spanish, flamenco and jazz with a more current beat to give us our own unique sound.

Our love for music and entertaining is what has kept us going over the past 7 years..
