Hello! My name is Zach Leon. I'm an American photographer, and I create exclusive projects, integrating my love of photography, writing, and design. I am intensely curious about art and travel, and my hope is that this Patreon serves as a motivating force to take creative risks and pursue a life worth writing about. In 2016, I took a van around the US for eight months as a photographer for an outdoor company. After that, my wife and I ended up getting a van of our own. We climbed our way through the Canadian Rockies, took a slow drive down the California coast, and eventually found ourselves in Mexico City. Wanting to see more of the world, we packed our bags and spent two years living in Europe. Since then, we've found ourselves in Asia, Africa, and South America. To this day, we move to a new country every few weeks. Living this lifestyle has allowed me to make photography my number one priority. I've learned so much over the years, and I've gained an appreciation for a variety of photographic approaches. I've grown a lot as an artist and, by way of this Patreon, I want to help others grow alongside me. I started this Patreon as a way to provide insight into my photography workflow, my experience traveling the world, and how I combine the two. I want this to be a place of professionalism and artistic integrity, but also of humility and community, and I'm happy to say that we've held firm to that belief. The community we've built has become something I cherish, and my hope is that everyone always feels comfortable asking any question on any topic.
