Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year I did an Olympic triathlon to raise money for cancer research UK.
I am now a Macmillan volunteer as I believe it is important that no-one faces cancer alone.
Whilst my Grandma was fighting cancer, it was with the support of family, friends and Macmillan that we were able to be strong and ensure my Grandma never felt alone.
However some people don't have that support and Macmillan aim to be there to offer help, support, guidance and compassion.
I am organising a memory walk, to raise money in memory of Grandma Sandra. It will take place on Saturday 14th May. The walk will be around the local area that Grandma lived and walk past her resting place.
Everyone is welcome to join the walk, it is for all ages and abilities and you can do as much or as little of the walk as you like. People who take part are encouraged to share memories of Grandma and remember her for the strong, beautiful and funny lady that she was.
You will also be able to make a donation on the day.
Thank you for your support,
Sam
