Since the civil war broke out, millions of Syrians have had to flee Syria for safety. There have been over 1.2 million registered refugees who have fled into Jordan of which 80,000 reside in Zataari Camp.
The struggles are food, water, hygiene, accommodation as well as medical.
Such a dire situation has driven us to volunteer with Human Relief Foundation to deliver first- hand aid to refugees in Jordan. This project will enable us to distribute food packs, hygiene packs for widows and new born babies, distribute your Zakat and Sadaqah, as well as helping some of the neediest Syrian Refugees on a more personal level. This will also include medical aid for those who cannot afford the medical attention they desperately need for survival.
You can support by funding the following...
• Large food sacks which feed a family of 5 for a whole month - £60
• School stationary, (to help them get back into education) £25
• Hygiene packs for new born babies and their mothers. £30
• Medical Aid £25
• Thick family winter blankets £15
• Children’s activities in the orphanage/school and SO MUCH MORE!
The money raised will also be put towards development projects such as healthcare, education, food projects and much more.
We will also be visiting Zataari Camp, which is one of largest refugee camps in the region, housing over 85,000 refugees.
With very little support and families to look after, the Syrian people need us.
This Ramadan please donate your Zakat & Sadaqah generously and spread the word so that we can make a small difference to people's lives.
