12 years of life. 9 years of fangirling. Over a hundred fandoms. A thousand characters.
But, if you'll gonna ask me who is my favorite character, it'll be Nymphadora Tonks (Harry Potter). She's the sister I never had. She's closer to me than any real people around me.(And then, she might have been real, anyways.)
I remember the first time I read about her. "Nymphadora, ey?", I whispered to myself. I was filled with unknown, unnatural, sisterly kind of blis. Like, who is she that she makes me happy at first sight? Ehem, I mean at first read.
As a shipper, naturally, I shipped her with Remus (RONKS FOREVER NO ONE CAN CONTRADICT ME) and I passionately shipped it. I know what's perfect for my soul sis.
Then came Half-Blood Prince. Still holding on to Ronks. Wait. Why is her hair not pink? And she's stressed? I know she's strong, 'cuz she's Tonks.

I went with every step of her adulthood. Her maturing, her marriage, when she got preggy, when Remus left her(I WAS BURSTING WITH RAGE AT THIS!), and her motherhood....
And then her death. I cried a lot at Fred, Snape, and Bellatrix(yes)'s deaths, but I was TOTALLY DEVASTATED at Colin, Remus, and Tonks' deaths. I was staring blankly, silently, my heart ripped to pieces, internally screaming and crying. I just lost a photographer guy, a crush, and most disastrously, a friend, a sister, and someone who was so close yet so far.
An auror, metamorphmagus, and a war hero. But to me, most importantly, she is a mother, a friend, a wife, and someone who was/maybe still so close to me than any other. Nymphadora Tonks, "Its real for us, not for them.", I tell others. You're my friend, a hero, an inspiration.
