DJ Ryan Paradise defines what it is to be an open format DJ. Keeping current with multiple genres of dance related and hip hop music makes his sets fresh and fun. His long blending style is just as important as his focus on taste and knowing how to read a crowd.
Ryan discovered his love for dance music in the late 1990’s. His love of the music eventually lead him to becoming an avid promoter.
He has produced events which has included such talent as the Chemical Brothers, Richie Hawtin, Paul Oakenfold & many more. From promoting he then moved on to DJing playing underground sets all over. What was once a more underground feel to Djing, he then progressed into his current club DJ style. In 2007 he took on his long running weekend residency at Debonair Social Club in Chicago’s trendy Wicker Park. He has opened for Steve Aoki, Cut Copy, Tommie Sunshine, DJ Mehdi, Felix Da Housecat & many more at Debonair. Every Friday & Saturday you can expect to hear a 5 hour long set to a packed house going through multiple genres of dance music. He has been the sound of Wicker Park
for the last 9 years!
Over the last couple years he has played events such as After Dark and Night Heist at the Chicago Art Institute. He also has taken on a couple more residencies which include Drumbar and Studio Paris Nightclub.
