We are very excited to share that we are beginning the next chapter in our lives and adopting!
Our Story
Brian and I have been together for 13 years and have been married for the last 7 years. We have been very happy sharing our lives together and are ready to begin sharing our love with a child of our own.
Recently we have become certified foster parents. We have had the opportunity to open our home and hearts to a child in need. We were a transition home for a wonderful boy, and due to this experience we have confirmed our desire to become a permanent home and family for our own little one.
Brian is a Elementary School teacher and recently obtained his Masters in Education. I am in management full-time however my passion is in the creative arts. We would like to raise a child with our love of education and art. We would like to raise a child in a home of love, support, and stability that will allow them to grow into a compassionate, empathetic, and confident individual.
The adoption process can be very expensive and we are going through an adoption agency. The costs for the process of adoption can be upwards of $40,000, which include home studies, legal fees, classes, and health care for the birth mother. We are working towards saving on our own and have set our goal for $15,000. We are looking forward to raising as much additional funds possible to begin this next chapter as swiftly as we can.
