I was assaulted and then outed at work

Dear Friends,

On August 9th I was assaulted in a transphobic attack and sustained a broken nose, a concussion, and required oral stitches. I had to return to the ER on August 12th for worsening symptoms and was able to return to work, but despite being available and able to perform the duties of my job, I was told I could not work with a broken nose. I subsequently have not been scheduled and have been aggressively and actively seeking any employment. In June, one of my direct supervisors outed me to the entire social work department by using my legal name in an email,  which was not a typo. After being outed, my scheduled hours dwindled to one shift for the entire months of August and September. In between looking for jobs, I have had to attend facial surgery appointments and neurological evaluations, as well as follow up with my PCP. 

I am seeking support to stay housed, fed, and transportation for job hunting for October. The only income I have for October are food stamps in the amount of $194. 

I am asking for $1207 to help support me, while I search for any gainful employment. I will use the money in the following way:

Rent: $650
Utilities: $211
MAWD Insurance Premium: $69
SEPTA Transpass x 4 weeks: $102
Supplemental Food: $100
Laundry/Dry Cleaning: $50
Public Electronic Use (Printing Fees for Resumes): $25

I have been using my local public job centers & public libraries daily.  I do not have a computer. Having this support will allow me the time necessary to find employment and put my MSW to good work.
