"Karla Diaz was expecting a visit from a cousin she had not seen in years. While she was waiting for them, a phone scam criminal used information they gathered, from who knows where to convince her they had that cousin held hostage and were ready to kill him. In a panic, Karla was essentially robbed of all the money she had in the bank. Upon realizing she was robbed, she blacked out and hit her head on the floor of her studio. Her service dog Frida licked her back to life enough to call 911. Due to her stroke history and heart issues they ran several MRIs and tests to see if she had suffered a second stroke, etc. Thank God all of those tests came out negative, however her legs were put into a state of shock and they're little by little gaining their strength.
We do need help financially because we were robbed of the money Karla had in the bank. If any one has the opportunity to help us out with a little bit of money, We Would Deeply Appreciate It Very Much.

Hello everyone. My name is Monica Martinez, who created this fund page for her. This breaks my heart to see and hear what has happened to Karla. Anyone who knows her, will tell you she is the kindest, funniest and most selfless human being there is! Her laughter, smile and such radiant positivity will always cheer anyone up. It saddens me how much Karla has gone through within these few years, but she is a survivor. Let's help her to stay strong, be positive and show her she is loved by us. Being robbed and having to pay for these medical bills, is not easy. Please help in any way. Even the smallest donations can go a long way by helping out Karla and Mario!
