Papa's Battle with Cancer

Ken's dad (Papa) was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 4 prostate cancer last week. Although Japan's health system is better than our own, it's still not enough to cover all Papa’s expenses PLUS the loss of income Papa provided that Ken’s family is now feeling.

We are asking for everyone to help us help Ken’s family with the financial burden they are now feeling. We want to give his mother and sister some peace of mind by helping to pay for Papa’s medical expenses and their regular bills while Papa is hospitalized and undergoing chemo.

By chance Ken and I have had a trip to Japan planned for this month since last year, so we will get a chance to see Papa and give more updates once we get there. We ask all of you for your assistance and financial support, even if it is only $1, it is greatly appreciated.
