San Jose State's original dance team was called the Band-Aides. Pat met her husband while he was a marching band member and she was a Band-Aide. Years later when Scott became the director of the marching band, he asked Pat to direct the dance team. Her reply was "Okay but we gotta change that damn name!" and that's how Spartan Spectrum was created ππ
