Fat or skin rolls the crazy things that girls stress about. Granted I’m not in my best shape skin rolls are normal babes. I’ve spoken about imperfections time and time again and welp guess what we’re all filled with them on the outside. That’s what makes us unique and special! But as society places perfectionism out into this world we are filled with more and more on the inside. Own your current position and stop lying to not only the general public but yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will edit some photos if I have some acne but recently I don’t even touch my photos except for lighting. I also have never touched my body in any photo. Just trying to keep it real, because last week I was on a social media binge obsessing over people’s pages and how perfect their photos were. How in shape, how perfect their makeup was, how perfect a family photo looked, you name it. I don’t want to get off track but.. You will never move forward if you keep hiding in any form. 💛

Most I’ve gone without training in years. I’ve had ups and downs over the past 3.5 years just to the simple fact of a lot of changes. Mostly too having to reinvent my reasons, why’s and purpose. I’ve been in shape y whole life from college sports straight into bodybuilding/fitness shows. Becoming a pro my second show to taking 2nd and 3rd in the world back when competing was all I wanted! I used to judge 3 shows a year for about 4 years straight till I moved. I’ve had a diff reason and goal each year but after 30 years of a continuous cycle I needed a break. It doesn’t stop there though because day in and day out without days off I’m working 1:1 with my amazing clients who are in a journey themselves. I’ve been blessed to maintain a healthy lifestyle and mental place throughout all these years. I’ve helped my clients overcome food addictions, anorexia, obesity, and the fear of food! The word is balance and understanding the educational portion of it all so daily you can freely make decisions that will continue to place you ahead of the game!

New season, new me! Wouldn’t you want to continue to progress and have small setbacks instead of having to start all over again? I currently have client openings for the next 12 weeks and would love to open up my time to discuss goals and mentally share with me what you want to accomplish! With all the travel I’ve been doing the past few months I haven’t really been tracking my nutrition or stressing the gym. I’ve maintained and haven’t really gained much weight. But because I’m not focused on a routine I haven’t progressed at all and have gotten a lil softer which is ok. If you are continuing to roller coaster, plateau and actually putting in effort something needs to change. Training and nutrition work hand in hand, so to continue to progress they both need to be dialed in.

Heading back east tonight and I’m excited to get back into a routine which in turn will produce results. .

Are you unsure? Is this something you struggle with? It’s wild that it’s fairly simple for the average human to digest sugary drinks, alcoholic drinks, and caffeinated drinks which naturally cause dehydration. But when it comes to something that our body is made up of 60-70% of like water it seems nearly impossible and to most absurd! Food for thought just our brain and heart alone is composed of about 74% of water.

The benefits of drinking water are life changing. First and foremost for us ladies it helps boost healthy skin! The digestive system depends on it, flushes body waste, delivers oxygen throughout the body hello to new found energy levels! Forms saliva and mucus which helps digest food while keeping our mouth moist. Regulates body temperature and also helps boost performance during exercise.

My daily consumption that I always aim for is 128oz of water. A gallon a day 💦 .
So remind me why you’re not focusing on a simple factor of your health being proper H2O hydration 🤔

If that's the case you’re never truly going to be happy. What you can do though is be thankful for how far you have come and look at all the positives life has blessed you with. PLEASE READ: Do smaller meals eaten frequently actually speed up your metabolism?

We have been taught this over the years by many fitness gurus and experts that this is correct. 
However, the answer is actually no!
.
In fact, meal frequency has no effect on your metabolism WHATSOEVER and can actually train your body to always be hungry!
.
When we eat a hormone is secreted called leptin.  Leptin is what we call the “hunger hormone” which tells our body when we have had enough food through signaling our brain once ample amounts have been released.
.
The problem with eating every 2-3 hours is that you are not getting a full concentrated release after you eat which leaves your body still wanting more food.
.
As we secrete this hormone more often in smaller quantities our brains actually stop recognizing that it has been released and can actually make us hold on to fat!
.
Leptin is also a hormone that is responsible for signalling our cells to use fat for energy so when our stomach and our brain aren’t on the same page it can lead to a stall in fat loss when you diet!
.
If we eat larger meals more frequently we have a HIGHER concentration of leptin released which will starve off hunger for longer and increase the fat burning ability of your body! BINGO
