Nutrition Tip β‘οΈ Watch out for liquid calories!!

A fancy coffee in the morning before work, a soda or smoothie with lunch, another coffee or an energy drink at the mid- afternoon slump and a couple glasses of wine or a few beers with dinner can really add up without you realizing! π¬

But BECAUSE liquid calories are so easy to overdo, it can also be a pretty simple way to reduce your daily intake without feeling restricted just by making a few easy swaps! π

Try swapping your soda for a sparkling water with a splash of 100% fruit juice, try plain half n half and a few packets of stevia in place of sweetened, flavored creamers, or get your fancy coffee drink made sugar free flavor syrups and unsweetened almond or coconut milk! You can even still indulge in a drink or two in the evening by sticking with light beer, using seltzer as a mixer for hard alcohol, or simply alternating glasses of water with every glass of wine. β€

Life will always be crazy, and busy, that's just life! Learning how to navigate making the best possible choices through those crazy moments is where progress lies. .
Everyone can eat healthy and make it to the gym when life is easy and there's little demand for your time and energy. Making the best choice possible when you forgot to pull something out for dinner and the kids have soccer practice and you had to work late Those are the moments that keep you moving forward, not only making healthy choices when things are easy. .
Start. Start today. You don't have to start perfectly, just pick one little tiny thing that is the best choice you could make in that moment and just do it. There is no perfect time to begin, so might as well just begin now. β€
