There is a seemingly never-ending fountain of knowledge to yoga, but if there’s one constant (ha!) the deeper I dive, it’s that this practice is synonymous with “life.” Joy, struggle, nourishment, community, acceptance... not to mention the practice gave me my health back, to which I’m eternally grateful.
I’ve learned that the heartiest detox you can do is through your breath. Using the asana movement practice, breath binds with heat to purify the blood, spiffing up the organs, reaching the subtle body to tune up glands and energy centers we can’t otherwise see or access. There’s always a deeper dive, another point to access. Wherever you’re at, don’t rush, let yourself roll under the next wave. Flow on!
