Sending out my heart, giving to receive 💗💐🎶 Lovin’ is easy

I see an acupuncturist, Nicole Rotundi, who’s able to muscle test my body’s state of wellness. If I’m sensitive to a virus, to allergies, if my hormones or even mood is off it’ll show. Lately I’ve been just...
e x h a u s t e d 
and I assumed it was the change of season, or a sleep issue. Sure enough she takes out this binder, hundreds of viles with the chemical compounds of different emotional responses, and of the hundreds I was tested for *grief* and *heartbreak* appeared, which immediately rang true. Even though I couldn’t have articulated it, I felt tears prick up in my eyes. The lethargy, low motivation, the extra effort it took just to be myself, even acute physical pain, all had a root. It was a relief in a way, knowing as intangible as these big feelings are they do manifest physically. Which isn’t all bad of course, laughter from joy or crying from catharsis feels good.
So as I’m preparing for the treatment I sort of ask her for homework. What else do I have to do to work on this so it’s fixed? I do this out of fear, a phobia of regressing or stagnating. A part of me feels like if I don’t watch my back I’ll “lose” the progress I’ve made in my physical health (I’ll talk about this in another post sometime.) but also the emotional strength I’ve upheld. I want to avoid these emotions, I’m somewhat embarrassed to even have them. I‘m craving a concrete task to direct me back to safe territory. 
Nicole looked at me and said “absolutely nothing. it’ll do it’s job, all you have to do is relax.” And sure enough, once I was plugged in without any conscious effort or resistance tears fell easily, almost emotionlessly out. It’s rare to cry like that, without clenching anything, the face, the stomach, then whole body totally at peace. It became trancelike, just observing the stream pass down my face like a river, feeling this pleasure of relief and calm. 
My body and emotions go through these unfolding of lessons, releasing, and resetting again. The process of opening a heart is sticky, deep work. It’s vulnerable, but letting go is true power. And I hope to share this gift with you too.
