I am eternally grateful to @perbernalphoto for capturing the most pivotal moment of my contest journey experience. The moment before I'm about to step out on stage after realizing that after 9 months of dieting and 43lbs of weight loss that:
1) I was too small and not carrying enough muscle as compared to my amazing peers
2) my conditioning was off
3) AND my body was unable to give me anymore than it already had for the 2019 season.
It's the moment I'm most personally proud of. The moment I recognized that this experience was going to be something entirely different then what I had dreamed and planned for. It's the moment I committed to being absolutely open to every lesson that was about to unfold from this second on. In that mindset and with a 15th place finish I experienced the most joy and presence than any of my previous contests. The lessons that have come since that experience have been incredible. My mindset for 2020 competition has never been clearer.
I've been beyond blessed and grateful in the last decade to have experience consistent success in my other expressions BUT the experience of the "swing and miss" in competition has been the most VALUABLE and exciting personal growth experience I've had in decades. Without a doubt, I continue to believe -Be fluid in questioning the process BUT #NeverDoubtTheDream. May your Monday be blessed.

When the end of a chapter is just the beginning of a whole new journey. I don't have enough words to describe the joy I felt rejoining all my amazing female IFBBPro competitors after a 4 year hiatus. I'm also so grateful for the love, support and commitment my family, friends and teams have given me as I looked to fold my passion for the sport into my life. It simply would not have been possible without all of them❤️. I was blown away to learn that our IGTV series was viewed over 35 MILLION times across all of our platforms!!!!!
