It’s massively hard to pick solely a handful of songs to share, to represent what’s fresh and new to you. Part of the reason is that there’s so much great music coming out which, as an audiophile, is an ideal problem to have! A couple of weeks ago, Flossie and I had the great pleasure of hanging at @npr to talk with midday on-air news magazine Here & Now about some favorite here...and now summer of ‘19 tracks. We picked selections by @erynallenkane (who I refer to as having a creme brulee voice...my favorite kind!), @trackademicks @theblackpumas @burnaboygram (afro beats obvi a summer must-have) and #francisandthelights - since recording this episode, some more songs have come out that cause me to think, damn maybe I would’ve included that!, but also I’m really happy with my choices! But you gotta listen to the episode to hear what songs we picked and why! I won’t listen because I sorta can’t stand my voice (but also sorta love it...shrug) and I probably said something that’s cringey to myself, but if you want to... link >> bio baby 🙃
