INTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANT

Are you passionate about interior design and eager to learn about the design industry as a whole? Then I would love to meet you! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience with a small, growing residential Interior Design company. As a one-woman show right now, I am wearing all of the hats and need someone to assist me with the different aspects of a growing interior design business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in select administrative tasks

• As-needed technical drawings, design boards and elevation drawings

• Social media managing, marketing & branding

• On-site project assistance

• Highly organized and ability to follow project timelines

• Self starter that takes initiative and has a proactive work ethic

• Ability to multi-task and stay on schedule

• Extremely detail oriented

• Strong curiosity about design and keeps up with the latest trends

• Proficient in auto cad; working knowledge in photoshop, illustrator, sketch-up, InDesign is a plus

• Ambitious attitude; willingness to take constructive feedback in an effort to learn and grow in their position

• Service oriented with awesome verbal and written communication skills

HOURS, COMPENSATION & LOCATION

This is a part time, contracted position (40 hrs/month, for 3 months). Please inquire for compensation. Some work may be done remotely, and other tasks may require travel to vendor and project sites in the Greater Los Angeles area.
