Adam proposed to Pam while they were adventuring in Canada + Alaska, and they both agreed they should elope and escape on another adventure for the big day! Once event designer + planner, The Wedding Boutique Italy, came on board, everything started moving swiftly; they found the florist, and pinpointed a location… So off to the tiny town of Paipo, on the very top of the mountains above Positano on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, they went.
Photographer Jennifer of Lace & Luce shares This real elopement was one of the most unique I have ever photographed. The two said their vows and dined on a little platform overlooking the sea, and it really was spectacular. They had a violinist there playing gorgeous music for their meal & first dance. There were several distance fires, and their smoke, mixed with the sunset, resulted in some of the most enchanting and fiery shots!
Let’s take a tour of Italy, shall we?
Such a dreamy place… Whether you’re eloping, honeymooning, or just looking for a romantic Italian getaway, the Amalfi Coast is definitely an ideal location!
Beaded + beautiful, Pam donned the Needle & Thread ‘Brisa’ from BHLDN.
The Wedding Boutique Bloom provided all the peachy pink florals for the day.
I realized my love for travel many years ago, and was fortunate enough to find a person that would share in my love to explore new places and create new adventures! We have covered a lot of ground together, but bringing Adam to Italy was on the list for awhile! I have dreamt of visiting the Amalfi Coast in Italy since the first time I saw photos of the the beautiful homes and buildings built into the mountains along the coast.
The day was so much more amazing than we ever could have imagined!! We wanted an adventure on our big day, so we requested something a little more unique. They took us to the very top of the mountains along the Amalfi coast where we were married overlooking the sea and the beautiful homes and buildings that line the coast.
Pam shares: Adam proposed while we were visiting Northern Canada and Alaska, and we knew right away that escaping on another adventure to elope would be the perfect wedding day for us.
The elopement took place in July and there were a number of forest fires on the surrounding mountains, which resulted in the most surreal light.
Greeted by goats — P+A definitely got to experience the “local life.” :)
Pam spills: The lit torches that lined the walk into our wedding site made us feel like we were on the set of The Bachelor! We were served a private dinner at ‘our spot’ in the mountains and the food was incredible.
Congratulations to the both of you! Ciao for now. :)

Oh my goodness, this wedding is incredible! What a location!! Gorgeous photography!
Wow! Incredible shots, you almost feel like you’re there with them. I’ve been very fortunate to have photographed many destination weddings myself, and the best part is getting the opportunity to be surrounded by all that culture.
What a stunning spot! We love unique locations and are always searching out the best ones in Hawaii!
