Your kind nature, unwavering integrity and ferocious heart create the perfect combo for taking students (and our new flock of Chickadees) to the next level on the hill and in life.

Thank you for seeing the mountain as a personal playground, while cultivating a culture of high flyers willing to follow you to the ends of our turf. Your fearless attitude is only elevated by your love and respect for the mountain and all of its contours. We’re betting the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree without sticking the landing in style.
 

Your decades of dedication have made the mountain a safer place to be for all of us, and no matter what surface surfaces we know we’re in good hands. Your leadership and legend will always be a part of us, and although you haven’t made a full-time departure, we’re glad we can share turns with you anytime we take a run down #601.

Thank you for being as steady as our tram towers and thicker than any ice you’ve had to remove from our cables. Your weathered conviction faces every element the Jay Cloud has to offer while ensuring us a safe ride to the top every day. You lift us up, literally.

Thank you for uncovering the courage to let go of your fears and jump right in. You’ll always have help, but it’s in your nature to conquer it on your own. Your determination reminds us that the only thing scarier than trying it for the first time is never trying at all.

Your roles as parent and child are natural reminders that raising a family goes both ways. Your motherly instinct is the security we all need as we learn to navigate the realities of the world, and your son’s perspective protects us from the harsh monotony of being too adult.

When you opened up Miso Hungry, you brought more than new flavors to Jay Peak. You mixed together fresh ideas and fun traditions into a hot bowl of special that feeds and fills us in more ways than we can count. That’s a hell of a recipe.

Thank you both for being there during the first of many firsts. There’s a good chance one of you won’t remember the details, like where you went or what you did. But it’s not really about that anyway. It’s about how you did it, and that you did it together.

Sometimes it takes looking at things from a squinted perspective to see that, if you tread water long enough, things end up being just exactly perfect.

Whether you’re bumping chairs or bumping music, you’re always giving us a lift. And it’s not just to the top of the Bonnie. Your constant energy takes us as far as any lift will, and it reminds us that this place is only as good as the people inside it.

We're all about as wild and free as we make up our minds to be. We appreciate that you made up your mind, a long time ago, that you being you, and you being here, made perfect sense.

Here’s to clocking in when most are still asleep. You put yourself on the line in every weather condition to make our playground a reality. And while you show up cool and controlled when we need you the most, it’s your warm sincerity that gets us through the toughest moments on the mountain.

Some of the deepest friendships are made in the mountains. We’re inspired by the adventures you’ve shared as you explore life’s peaks, valleys and secret stashes together. Your lives might take you in different directions from time to time, but you always have a way of finding each other, no matter how stormy the weather.

Generations of families have called Jay Peak home, planting their roots firmly in what have become our traditions. Thank you for grooming the next round of Raised Jayers to come. Getting to know and grow with your family is one of the most meaningful experiences we could ever hope to be a part of.

Thank you for reminding us of how cool it is to be a kid. We’re honored to be your stomping grounds, and you are the reason we strive to be better each day. You’ll soon be old enough to know how rad your dads are, the history you share, and how much you all mean to us.
