I am so happy with the result, the tattoo is healing nicely, it looks marvellous and I am so pleased with it. I would definitely recommend this place for your next tattoo.

Very easy 5 star review to leave. The vibe of the studio was lovely. An excellent playlist of music that day. I've just had my first ever tattoo and was in Lucy's extremely capable hands. She has designed and given me the perfect tattoo. I am so happy. Everyone seemed lovely. I was happy with the price quoted . It seemed more than reasonable. Fantastic studio, very welcoming with a comfortable and clean environment, my wife had a fantastic portrait tattooed by Jo and I've had a out of this world jaguar tattoo by Rachel both are outstanding pieces of art work. I would highly recommend either of these artists, but I would be more than happy for any of the artists at the studio to tattoo me or my with and I'm looking forward to more visits in the future. I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful experience. I’ve known Lucy for a few years now, and the same for Boris; they always put me at ease during the time they are tattooing me. With having an Autism and EUPD diagnosis, I find it hard to trust people and generally have a conversation, but it’s easy with Lucy and Boris. It was also my first time meeting Jo, she seems really friendly and nice. Rich is also really nice, he made being welcomed into the studio really relaxed, considering I was warn out after hiking up the stairs. I don’t know the other persons name, but he was also nice. So thank you for such a wonderful experience, I will be coming back again; even if it’s just to visit!

i want to say a huge thankyou to jo and minerva lodge i havent stopped staring at my tattoo its made me strong enough to now scatter her ashes i hope jo knows how much of an impact she has had doing this piece so perfectly for me, the service was spot on with the brews and offering cookies its the most welcoming tattoo place i have ever been and think i have found my new regular place after moving from home, thankyou all so much you are all wonderful!

I had my first tattoo done, the environment was lovely, the lady who did my tattoo, was Boris. She was amazing and took everything at my own pace. Overall the tattoo studio is a lovely place to go, and I will be coming back. Everything was sanitized as well, the cleanliness was top tier which made me more comfortable knowing that my tattoo was being done in a clean and sterile environment. I had a lot of fun and will recommend coming here to anyone and everyone who wants to get a tattoo (my mums a die hard fan to 😂)

I went in here to enquire about a large tattoo to be drawn by the fabulous artist, 'Lady Boris'. After really taking the time to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions I was left to ponder my options. I really like their open approach and honesty. I'm calling them next week to book a slot for the work to be done. I can't wait.

I was tattooed by Lucy (Lucyfer_tat2) and my experience was incredible. Her artwork is amazing and she included all of the little details that I wanted into my tattoo. With this being my first tattoo, I was nervous, but upon arriving at the studio, Lucy was so welcoming and she immediately put me at ease. I am so pleased with how my tattoo turned out and I will absolutely be getting more from her in the future.

I've had experience with Lucy before, she did a briliant tattoo job on my hand and saw how much it meant to me, doing it as my first tattoo. She explained thoroughly to me about tattoo care and answered any question I had regarding tattoos or tattooing as a job. Lucy has been my tattoo artist since the beginning and I would trust no one else to do what she has done. Absolutely amazing and beautifully crafted tattoos, she somehow seems to raise the bar higher every time I see her for an appointment. As well as making me feel so comfortable in the studio (especially with my fear of needles) she also loves a good chat and it just makes the experience so much nicer. I have had numerous large scale tattoos done by Jo at Minerva Lodge over recent years. I come up with random concepts and send her some pictures of ideas and she creates mind blowing work. Everywhere I go I get compliments on how incredible my tattoos are which is lovely to hear but the credit all goes to Jo. Both of my arms have full sleeves which have been healed for a couple of years and the colour is still vibrant. One of my sleeves covers a number of very bad scars...i can't even tell where most of them used to be! I trust Jo implicitly and love everything she has done and continues to do for me. I had been in an accident when I first starting getting tattooed by Jo and had very limited mobility and struggled with my speech, she took such good care of me making me feel completely at ease and making sure I was comfortable. I can't thank her enough or recommend her or the studio highly enough.

Rachel is an incredible artist and it’s so easy to trust in her to create exactly what you want from your ideas. Memory/family pieces are so subjective but she immersed herself in the detail I shared and created an image, framed brilliantly which I couldn’t be happier with. I've had the pleasure of being a canvas twice now with the amazingly talented Racheal at the lodge. Both times she's smashed it out the park for me. Could not be happier with the pieces she's produced on me! The tattoo studio is awsome! Lovely team and seriously make you feel welcomed. Could not recommend a better more professional studio for either a first time tattoo or an experienced veteran!

Rachel did my amazing tiger behind a bush tattoo. It was in two sittings and each time she was brilliant. Talked me through what would happen and the tattoo is as well as it could’ve been done, it pops and has kept its colour better than my others. She’s the only person I would now let tattoo me. Can’t recommend enough

Highly recommend MLTC. I came for my first tattoo with the super talented Wik this weekend and from the moment I got there I was made to feel welcome and put at ease. It was a great experience and when Wik showed me the artwork I couldn’t believe just how perfect it was! Thank you so much! I also have to say the playlist on the tv was one of the most random but brilliant things, and enjoyed the sing a long, it made the time fly by.
