The last favour I ask of you is, don’t cry so hard, my end has come, but I die as a man, full of courage and faith. Cara mamma,
l’ultimo piacere che io ti domando, non piangere tanto, la mia fine è arrivata ma sempre pieno di coraggio e di fede io muoio ma da uomo. Mi sono confessato e il frate che viene ti dirà che io muoio sempre col pensiero più grosso per te. Dunque fatti una decisione non piangere ne te e mio babbo, credo che mi farete questo favore, da voi perdonatemi, di quanto mi dicevi che dovevo stare in casa, che non ti stavo ascoltare, ora mi è toccata a me e mi dovete promettere che non dovete piangere per me, è l’ultimo favore. Te Palin guarda di non fare arrabiare la mamma i genitori, io muoio e state ad ascoltare quello che dicono che è la verità, guarda di consolarla e che si aiuta che gli vinca. Gisto anche tu fagli consolazione alla mamma che quello che dice è la verità, io sono pentito che non l’ascoltavo, ma sono contento che muoio della mia idea. Pepo ci vedremo all’altro mondo, saluta tutti i parenti e quelli che ti chiedono di me. Mamma mi sono confessato e muoio di coraggio e di fede.
