Help Fund my Fathers Funeral
Donation protected
From my Dad....
On Monday July 24 2017 , my father passed away unexpectedly.
With the nursing home expenses depleting his fixed income monthly, unaware to me, his direct monthly installment payments for his pre-paid burial next to my mother stopped. Sadly, they gave away his plot. The thought of my dad pre-paying to assure that his eternal resting place would be next to his wife, and now that not happening is so hard to come to grips with. All I can do now is just try and give him a decent burial as close to my mother as I can, but shamefully enough, I don't have the funds to do so.
My dad has done nothing but give back throughout his life. He had become disabled from a work accident and found himself with an amputated leg. He enjoyed playing basketball which he continued to do with his new lifestyle. He coached a basketball team for young men who were disabled in wheelchairs. He also gave my me a second chance at family when he and my mom adopted me. Though he later had Alzheimers, he never let that take away his sense of humor.
It has taken alot for me to reach out this way. Pride aside at desperate times when you feel nothing but hopeless. Any donation will make a difference. I really appreciate it.
