Ben has done work on our house twice now in the last 1.5 years and in both instances my wife and I have been extremely happy with the outcome. Ben doesn’t need to be hand held, and always suggests something we didn’t think of. In addition, Ben is very trustworthy and an all around good guy which makes hiring him to do work an easy decision. From a client’s perspective, we chose Liebke Projects ahead of the other builders who tendered for our project based on Ben’s understanding of our requirements and ability to visualise what we wanted to achieve. Ben and his team provided the perfect balance of the experience and manpower that you would expect with a larger company, blended with the personal service that you get from a smaller builder. We wanted a renovation that maintained the original character of our house , ie one that blended seamlessly the old and the new, with a few quirky features. Ben totally understood what we were trying to achieve and showed us how we could do it within our budget. When problems arose (as they always do during a renovation of an old house!) he was able to solve them quickly and smoothly and remained totally calm. His team were unfailingly polite, courteous and considerate of our needs as family who had to live and work in the house throughout the renovation. They were a pleasure to have on our premises. We would not hesitate to recommend Ben and his team based on all of the attributes one would be looking for in a builder: realistic and comprehensive quoting for the job; flexibility and understanding of overall vision; great communication; fast and creative response to any issues that arose during the build; and delivering the final build on budget and on time with a smile on all of our faces.

Ben and the team added a contemporary alfresco decking and paved sandstone area to our family home that has seamlessly connected our living, dining and kitchen spaces. Enclosed with a frameless glass balustrade the new decking space show cases the magnificent water views and in keeping with the quality of the rest of the home. We are very happy with the high standard of finish reflecting the detailed workmanship of Ben and his team. Ben was very easy to work with from the brief through to execution of the build and he went above and beyond to keep us happy. He was flexible on our changes to design and schedule and invested time with other experts on the project such as our engineer, architect and the council to ensure our build was what we wanted and as per planning. He did truly exceptional work and was very respectful and personable around our family during the build, I highly recommend Ben and his team.

An open letter to Ben Liebke, Liebke Projects, and prospective clients. In conversation with our structural engineers, ACOR, I was given Ben’s name. First, he came to the appointment on time. A good start. Second, he listened to what we wanted to achieve – simply, a beautiful home. Third, Ben presented us with a ten page itemised list of what our renovation would cost. We knew right from the beginning where our money was going. Ben gave us a time line of 6 months. We were lucky with the weather – very little rain and we moved back home exactly 6 months later. Ben is years ahead of most builders both in knowledge and skill. I will be honest, I am a fairly demanding person, in so far as my expectations go in quality and workmanship. Ben’s team did not disappoint in any detail. He runs a tight ship, and the loyalty his team show is very evident in the pride they show in their work. Now we are happily ensconced in our home and our friends and neighbours cannot believe the quality and time frame of the build. Of course these are all just words to you, I suggest you meet Ben and make up your own mind. Then enjoy the beautiful home he will build for you.
