“ENTRE NOS: PART 3” STARRING UP AND COMING LATINO STAND-UP COMICS PREMIERES ON HBO LATINO® ON MARCH 30
Continuing on the success of Entre Nos: Part 1 and 2, comedians Orlando Leyba, Eric Blake and Aida Rodriguez will take the stage in the 30-minute stand-up comedy show Entre Nos: Part 3 when it premieres on Friday, March 30th at 9:30pm EST exclusively on HBO LATINO®. In the hilarious English-Language special, the three comedians are joined by host and comedian Tonio Skits at Los Angeles’ El Portal Theatre for a laugh-out-loud night of stand-up. Directed by David Betances, Entre Nos: Part 3 will air across all of the channel’s platforms including HBO NOW®, HBO GO®, HBO On Demand® and affiliate portals.
These brash comedians tell their personal stories that are sure to entertain. Sex, politics and all the other things we’re told not to discuss at the dinner table will be served up in this third installment of HBO Latino’s Entre Nos comedy specials. Orlando Leyba
Orlando Leyba is an American stand up comedian who connects with diverse audiences through his unique life experience, and perspective as a domesticated man. Orlando has a knack for finding humor in just about anything that crosses his path. With his animated demeanor, Orlando entertains the audiences through his dynamic storytelling and undeniable likeability allowing them to come along for the fun ride of his life experiences. He has been working hard, making his mark on the comedy scene. Orlando was a finalist in NBC’s Stand Up Showcase, The Laughing Skull Comedy Fest, and BigSky Comedy Fest. He’s also become a regular at other comedy festivals, and clubs throughout the U.S and Canada.
Eric Blake
Eric Blake, a comedian from South Central LA, prides himself on expanding his material beyond the African-American lens, and identifying with many other cultures and experiences. He is one of the few performers who can truly be labeled as a “universal comedian,” defying comedic normality. Blake is also distinguished by his ability to custom-fit his comedy for the particular moment. This witty improvisation can be revealed at the drop of a hat, bringing new characters to life. Some of his performances include NBC’s Last Comic Standing, HBO’s Bad Boys of Comedy, BET’s Comic View, and Galavision’s Que Loco, where he has displayed his cross-cultural abilities that have earned him a devote Latino following.
Aida Rodriguez
Aida Rodriguez’s “edgy, raw, and in your face” style has set her apart in the comedy world. Catching the eye of some of the most recognizable comedians, she is creating a lane of her own. As a single mom of two, Aida has honed and nurtured her craft while juggling her family and career, which has provided endless material that many can relate to. She is a regular on the nation’s most iconic and historic comedy stages across the country. Aida has also hosted and appeared on numerous television and radio broadcast programs including PBS’ Annual Imagen Awards, Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show, Fox’s Laughs, the daytime television show Hot Topics with Judge Joe Brown, Nickelodeon’s Mom’s Night Out and Parental Discretion, as well as NuVo TV’s Stand Up and Deliver.
