Baba Da Dhaba after successfully running delivery joint in CBD area has open its wing in the busy Koramangala 7th block area.
If you are on a lookout for mouth-watering North Indian food, rest your case now and savor the yummilicious food here. And fear not, they have home delivery too. That’s exactly all my North Indian food lovers would be looking for.
Baba da dhaba is sort of a dhaba with a modern touch. The particular outlet is a home converted into a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating with an ambiance that of a cafe. Graffitis adore the walls. So can I say Baba da Dhaba is a “Cooler Dhaba”!
I spotted a huge menu displayed on one of the walls and was lost amongst the choices. But the friendly staff helped me with right choices and was super enthusiastic about service as well.
And thus begins the hogging session….
Chicken Malai Tikka, usually I don’t like malai with my chicken but this one was quite impressive.
Chicken Tandoori, the red masala, some charred patches and the glaze of oil and the perfect marination.
Mutton Sheekh Kebab, though I avoid eating red meat, this one was a killer. Rightly blended spices and the meat literally melted in the mouth.
Paneer Tiika, this ultra soft chunks of paneer is probably one of the best in town.
I had to eat like a Punjabi at this place, so went on to try an extensive main course spread too!
Chicken Lababdar, Paneer Lababdar, Mutton Curry with extra butter laden Rotis and Naan made into my main course. You ask why no Dal Makhani? It was out of stock you see, such is the demand for the dish here.
There is no main course without Biryani, so some flavorful Mutton Biryani too went into my stomach. Biryani is bae
There is always space for desserts. Phirni, a classic sweet made of ground rice along with Black and White Chocolate Cake filled this space.
Oh wait, I did not miss the LASSI churned at a billion rpm!
It was a full-fledged batting session indeed! Big thanks to the cool baba for the experience.
