How To Dress For Christmas

Decorations are up, movie choices are made and Christmas music is playing. I’m guessing that you all probably already have decided what you’re going to wear this Christmas and New Year’s Eve. You have your dress or favorite pants out, ready to iron. If you haven’t prepared it yet, I hope I’ll give you some idea.

Instead of leaving the outfit for the last minute, let’s see what you need to consider before the final look. This way you won’t say: “I don’t have anything to wear” an hour or two before the celebration :).

Color

While dressing for Christmas parties and Christmas itself, it is worth considering other colors than red. We all know that most of the people will wear red and there’s nothing wrong about it. You might want to switch things up a little bit.

Instead of choosing the obvious color, you can surprise your guests with some navy blue, royal blue, burgundy (my favorite!) and any shades of green. As far as I am concerned, all these colors will work perfectly for this holiday.

Undergarment

When it comes to undergarment, I must say: the more comfortable, the better. If your dress or top are strapless or backless, you need to think about the bra very carefully. The dress I have chosen for Christmas this year has lace on the back so if I wore the regular bra, it would show up. That’s why I’ve purchased this Original Silicone Push Up Bra from Nubra and if you follow me for some time, you know that I like this brand the most! 🙂

This backless bra has built-in push-up pads so it nicely enhances the bustline. What I like the most about Nubra bras is that they are reusable and are made in USA.

When it comes to panties, remember to just check if the panty lines don’t show.

Accessories

You know that I’m a huge fan of jewelry. For Christmas, I always choose something sparkly, because why not? It happens only once in a year and it’s the best time for it.

When it comes to choosing the right pair of shoes, always consider comfort first. Unless you are able to take two pairs and switch it later on when your feet get tired. If you’re staying home, I would just jump in my favorite slippers and stay cozy and comfy.

If you’re going out, don’t forget about the bag, where you can put all your necessities. It’s always better though to leave the phone at home to fully enjoy this most wonderful time of the year :).

Merry Christmas!!! 🙂

  1. I’m sure these tips would help not only for Christmas but also for any special occasion. I like your burgundy dress with beautiful lacework. Merry Christmas to you both!

  2. Very pretty dress! So, with this bra (which I just went and checked out) does it just stick on? How does that work – does it stay in place? I avoid dresses and tops where I can see the straps and I could never figure out how on earth women were wearing them and still looking like they had a bra on – so now I know.(I’m not so on top of fashion – you are going to be a big help to me) I’m really interested it if it actually stays in place or if you have to take bathroom breaks and realign things. Thanks for sharing!!!

    1. I’m so happy to let you know about this, because I’ve tried some backless bra before and yes, I was feeling uncomfortable, because it was moving so I had to go to the bathroom and check if everything is ok and fix. Bra from Nubra are the only ones that work perfectly for me, they stay in place and I can use it more than one! This glue on them is really amazing! â˜ș🌾

  3. I went to our dinner party in a golden dress not red because it is not really my color 😌
I try as well ti avoid black as people here in Belgium dress already in black all the time 😉
I insist once more… that dress was made for you ❀
