Pod Recognize Pod

Hella Good Company and SpecialSays present "Pod Recognize Pod" a podcast kickback for folks to talk about the craft of making podcasts.

This is an audio community building event. We'll have different stations set up for more focused discussion on podcasting from recording techniques to promotion. We'll also be screening "Ear Buds" a 2016 documentary that explores the relationship between podcasts and their fan bases.

This event is for:
- People that make podcasts. Tap in with other Bay Area podcast producers and hosts to share knowledge, plan collaborations and build community.
- People that want to make a podcast. Build with established producers to learn how to record, edit, publish, and promote a podcast.
- People that listen to podcasts. Learn how the sausage is made and learn about new pods from the hosts and producers themselves.

Expectations:
- Don't be shy. Podcasting is solitary medium, so attendees are highly encouraged to meet, interact, and engage with one another. The experience will be what you make of it.
- Come to learn, come to teach. Everyone will be coming in with different skill levels, attendees are expected to be prepared to learn from and teach one another.
- Relax fam. Most meetups are hella stuffy and SERIOUS NETWORKING BUSINESS. This isn't that. Grab a beer or bring your vape pen.

About Us:
Hella Good Company is an arts and events collective. We produce 4 podcasts, "Good Company Radio" - a podcast with DJ mixes and topical discussion, "Sit Down, Be Hungry" - a food podcast with discussion on Bay Area restaurants, food news and interviews, "In Case You Care" - a topical podcast hosted by two Latinx women in the entertainment industry, and "Conversating" - a podcast about freelancing.

SpecialSays is the hub for the creative projects of Tiffany aka Special. Currently hosting and producing two podcasts; Special Delivery and Docupod: The Stories Behind Documentaries, she has over a decade's worth of experience in audio storytelling.
