Fit Revolution is a team of professional and passionate instructors who believe that everyone has the power and ability to lead strong, healthy lives.

The Fit Revolution team is led by creator and owner Michelle O’Connor. In summer 2012, Michelle began building her expert team with one purpose in mind: to offer unparalleled workouts utilizing state-of-the art equipment. Fast forward to today, and Fit Revolution still stands on those principles along with the guarantee that no two workouts will ever be the same.  It’s how we keep your mind / body guessing and your inner athlete coming back for more!

Fit Revolution offers classes for everybody including: Bootcamp, Boxing, Cycling/Spinning, Inferno Hot Pilates, Strength Training, Treadmill (Running/Walking), and Yoga. We also offer one-on-one Personal Training, Small Group Training, and Kids’ Strength & Fitness Training too.

Our Team

Studio Policies

Class Registration & Arrival

All classes require a reservation. You may register for a class one week in advance. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get properly set up. To minimize disruption, we do not allow entry to our classes once the door shuts or the music begins. Please plan accordingly and arrive on time.

Once inside the studio, you must check in using the FitRev app. If you have difficulty checking in, please tell an instructor.

Late-Cancellations / No-Shows

We have a 12-hour cancellation period. You may cancel your class reservation 12+ hours in advance without penalty. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class reservation or do not show up for class, you will be charged a no-show fee of $15 (monthly unlimited clients) or forfeit one class card (class cardholders).

It is the participant’s responsibility (not the instructor’s) to check in when attending a class to avoid incurring no-show fees.

Waitlist

If you put yourself on a class waitlist, you will receive an automated email if a spot becomes available. At this point, you will be automatically added to the class roster and the normal cancellation/no-show policy is in effect.

If you get moved into a class off the waitlist and do not attend, you will be charged a $15 no-show fee (members) or forfeit one class card (cardholders). You are responsible for checking your status until 30 minutes before the class. You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time without penalty.

Footwear

Please do not wear street shoes to class. (“Street shoes” are any footwear you wear en route to the studio.) Salt, water, and gravel damage tour flooring and equipment. You are welcome to change into your sneakers in the lobby and store your shoes/boots/slippers in our cubbies.

Cell Phone Usage

Out of respect for everyone around you, we do not permit cell phone use in class. Consider the class an appointment for yourself…and only yourself. Enjoy the time to disconnect!

Our Classes

Fit Box

This high-intensity class uses cross-training intervals to ignite your metabolism, burn crazy calories, improve endurance, strengthen your core, and build lean muscle. Our instructor will lead the class through boxing drills, footwork, and more! Remember to bring your own gloves.

Prepare for the unexpected with Fit Cross, FitRev’s signature boot camp-style class. Each session is a unique challenge, never repeating the same routine. You’ll work through circuits using functional equipment, cardio equipment, your body weight, and more to boost your aerobic and muscular fitness.

Get ready for an interval class that will work your entire body! Fit HIIT Ride includes both on- and off-bike exercises designed to raise your heart rate and then lower it to your fat-burning zone. The cycling segments are familiar spinning-style cardio classics, while the off-the-bike intervals can include high-intensity drills and toning exercises. Bring a towel!

We’ve designed this combo workout to maximize results. The class combines an athletic-style ride including: hills, sprints, and jumps with intense strength training circuits off the bike to challenge you from head to toe.  Grab some heavy weights from the studio, bring a water and towel, and get ready to put in the work.

Fit Ride-inspired class incorporating light weights on the bike to give you a crazy caloric and muscle burn. A must-try for those looking to push their limits!

Unleash your inner strength with Fit Strength, a class that targets every muscle in your body. By incorporating barbells and free weights, we maximize your strength and muscle growth. More muscle means a faster metabolism and increased bone density. For optimal results, we recommend attending 2-3 times per week.

Fit Tread is a treadmill and strength training workout for everybody. This class combines high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with strength training combinations designed to mentally and physically challenge you.  Bring a towel, and be ready to sweat!

Get ready for a serious yet low-impact workout that focuses on building cardio fitness and torching calories while you work in the fat-burning zone. Throughout the class, you’ll play with speed and inclines on the treadmill, proving this is not just a walk in the park!

Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP) is a low-impact, high-intensity, interval-training class based on Pilates principles. Taught in our heated studio, IHP is kind on the joints and includes exercises that activate the core, stomach muscles, glutes, and pelvic floor for a comprehensive workout. Bring a yoga mat, water, and a towel…or two!

This workout will build lean muscle and burn calories as you move to an upbeat playlist and perform strength and core exercises in our heated studio. The elevated room temperature and humidity will prime your body for maximum results. Bring a yoga mat, water, and a towel, and get ready to feel the burn!

Thursday Night Fights, is a high-intensity boxing workout that’s designed to push you to your limits. Golden Glove Boxer Tony Matias will guide you through drill-based technique classes, where you’ll learn proper boxing techniques, shadowboxing, and bag work. Tony will also incorporate core, cardio, and strength exercises throughout the class to ensure a full-body workout. Whether you’re a seasoned boxer or a newcomer to the sport, Thursday Night Fights is the perfect way to build fitness, strength, and coordination. Bring your gloves!

Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class to allow yourself enough time to sign in and get situated.  Once you arrive at the studio you must sign in at the front desk computer. If you fail to sign in, the system will flag you as a no-show and you may incur a $15 no-show fee.  Feel free to ask a staff member for help if you have problems signing in.

Yes, we offer personal training at our North Reading studio.

We’re always keeping our eyes out for experienced and motivating instructors to lead cycling & bootcamp-style workouts at our studio.
