On Friday May 18th, 2018, tragedy hit close to home when Alicia Kirkwood, the daughter of Romeo Venditti, who is one of our team members, slipped and fell into rushing waters of the Niagara River while hiking. The very fast current quickly swept Alicia away and she has still not been found. Alicia has been described by friends as someone with such a good heart, caring smile, and a pleasure to be with.
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we ask for support for Romeo and his family. We are numb thinking about what Alicia’s close friends and family are going through, and continue to pray for everyone involved. The money raised will go towards supporting recovery efforts, and to her loved ones who are taking time off work during this extremely difficult time.
