Hello My name is koz the artist and filmmaker behind the docu-series the blackbook diaires.
I recently premiered my first two episodes of my six part series featuring artist Robots will kill and SEV Street Evil Vandal at angelika theater in nyc! It premiered in February and it was a wonderful turnout. I’ve been documenting graffiti and art happening in nyc non stop the last two years and I would love to be able to continue to do so. I would also love to finish the last 4 episodes of my mini series with the artists below.
3-Zimad 4-Duel 5-NiteOwl 6-Easy
I would be able to complete them all with a little help by the end of the summer! Now that people know I’m serious I hope everyone will be comfortable helping anyway they can. I was a camera operator, executive producer, director, editor, media manager etc on the first two episodes and only had help my closest friends who all generously donated their time and energy... it’s beyond daunting trying to accomplish this all myself with no funding.
I will be flying to California to film with Duel and Niteowl. So funding will help me get out to Cali as well and will also help me hire a couple people to help alleviate some of the massive workload I’ve been handling.
any help is much appreciated as this is something that I’m super passionate about.
