Our Amazing Friend Thomas Cady

Thomas ‘Tommy’ Cady aka Thomas PM to some of you, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019. His passing was untimely and unexpected.
As one of my best friends for over 20 years, I can honestly say I have never met another person like Thomas. His energy was contagious, invigorating, and impossible to contain. His light filled the dimmest of rooms.
A lover of discovery, he prided himself in finding the rarest record, the uncommon sound, and the unique individuals that he chose to surround himself with, all of whom also became close friends.
Thomas was a master story teller. There isn’t a person who encountered him that didn’t hear something that inevitably made them smile. While we are all saddened that we will no longer be able to make memories with him, we encourage everyone to continue sharing the memories we have previously made with him.
I am assisting, along with his friends, fellow DJ’s and Ubiquity Records in raising funds for his family to help with the costs of the memorial service. All donations will go to his family to assist in this trying time.
This celebration of Thomas’ life is tentatively slated for the afternoon of Monday, September 16th. It will be a place for all to come share the stories and be surrounded by those who loved and cared about him. As we finalize the details we will let everyone know. All are welcome.
If you can help with a donation, no matter how small, it is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to contribute monetarily, all we ask is the next time you hear a song he enjoyed, see a sunset he would’ve loved, or doing anything that reminds you of him, please tell his story.
