Help Maria Study Abroad in Africa

Hi! I'm Maria.  Next January I'll be volunteering with various organizations  for about a month. I will participate in at least two service learning projects designed to provide direct immersion into the culture through community-based experiences.

Please help me in making a difference to the lives of children and conservation efforts in South Africa. Volunteering in other countries and making a difference in the world has been fulfilling and life changing for me and I want to continue it with your assistance.



I'll visit Othandweni Family Care Centre (Orphanage) in Soweto . Help the soup kitchens and other parts of the facilities, as well as helping feed, educate and care for the children. 

Additional volunteering efforts will be at Thembani Primary School. Meet and greet students and help with needs of the young bright students.
