Judith Marie's Journey

Donation protected
On September 27, 2016 Judith Marie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It has been a very long and tough journey for Judi. During her journey, she was also diagnosed with Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). This is a rare disease linked to cancer, which Judi managed to beat, even though the survival rate is low. It has been a very tough time emotionally, physically and financially,  but Judi was doing well and even had her last scheduled chemo for December of 2018. Unfortunately, we are so sad and heartbroken to tell you that Judi has now been diagnosed with a new type of Leukemia called Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML. Treatment will begin in a few days as in patient for a few weeks at Valley Children's then up to Stanford for a few months while she receives a bone marrow transplant if we can find a match. We are starting this GoFundMe because mom will be leaving her job to be by Judi's side every step of the way. Dad, brother and sister will be there too of course. We are also looking into having a bone marrow drive in hopes of finding a match as soon as possible. We will post updates on Judi's Instagram page @judithmariesjourney for anyone who wants to follow. Any help will be greatly appreciated. This bump in the road is big, but we believe that Judi will get through this with us by her side. Judi is a fighter and she says "Oh well, it's just another fight I have to get through." We would like to thank everyone who has helped us and supported us on this journey so far. We have tried our best but we are in need of an extra helping hand and reaching out with GoFundMe. Again, thank you to everyone and lets get through this fight together.
