*This post is sponsored by Bassett Furniture. Although the pieces were gifted to me, all opinions are my own.

This is the most exciting thing that has happened to me since I started my Instagram account and blog: Bassett reached out and asked me if I would like to work with them to refresh a space in my home!! I literally squealed! Once I visited their website and saw all of the gorgeous furniture, I squealed louder (and may or may not have done a little dance around the room. You’ll never know)! Haha!

Our dining room has been on the to do list for a long time now so I was over the moon thrilled to get this space prettied up with the help of the beautiful pieces from Bassett Furniture.

I want to tell you all about the store visit and what it’s like to work with their designers. Guys- it is so much fun!

When I walked into the new showroom located in Estero, FL, I was blown away. My first impressions: high quality, on trend, and great variety. I was quickly greeted by my designer, Melody. The people who work here are all so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. You can walk into a Bassett store and know you will be well taken care of.

At the front of this store, there is an entire room dedicated to wood finishes, dining chair styles, lighting and rugs. It is so helpful to see all of the options up close and in person when choosing furniture. SO much eye candy! Each piece is custom made just for you. You can combine finishes on one piece of furniture or keep it simple and choose one stain. There are so many possibilities to make your furniture a completely unique piece that no one else will have. I love that!

For my table, I chose the Benchmade Rectangular Dining Table in Nubuck Oak . I love it’s clean lines and that it has a modern feel that’s still classic. I was able to find my table finish, and take that sample with me to the chair finish options. For my chair style, I went with the Bailey Open Back Side Chair. It has clean lines to compliment the table and I love having an upholstered and wood chair. It adds a touch of class to a dining space. They are SO comfortable too- huge selling point! For the chairs, there were so many pretty stains to choose from. I was back and forth between a couple and ended up going with Aged Stone Oak.

Once we nailed the table and chair combo down, we grabbed my dining chair choice and headed back to the fabric room.

Let me tell you- there is no shortage of fabric options in this show room! They have literally hundreds of fabrics to choose from in any color you love. Each fabric has the care and durability rating right on the sample to make it easy to narrow down your choices. I loved being able to touch each fabric and even drape them over my chair to see how it would all look together. I chose the woven geometric black fabric. It’s dark so I don’t have to worry about stains as much and it looks so sleek with the light wood chairs and table. I’m dying to see it in my house!

The next step was choosing the perfect rug for the space. My designer, Melody, was so knowledgeable about the different rugs and how they would perform in a dining space. Again, it was so nice to be able to see the rug options in person and touch them all. How a rug feels is so important to me so this was amazing. For the rug, I kept it neutral but interesting and went with the Florentine rug in sand. The texture on this rug is incredible and I may roll around on it a bit before I let them put the table on top! Hah!

Once we chose the perfect table, chairs, upholstery fabric and rug for my space, Melody put it all on the computer screen so I could see it together and really get a visual of it all. The designers really help to take your vision and bring it to life! Anyone can go online to bassettfurniture.com or call a Bassett store and book an appointment with a designer at no charge. They will even come out to your home with samples to make sure it’s all going to be perfect in your space. Talk about VIP treatment!

Of course I couldn’t just leave once we were done designing my dining room- now it was time to just browse all of the beautiful displays and take a bunch of photos so I could show you guys how awesome Bassett stores are! How pretty is all of this?!

While I was browsing, I spotted this Derince chandelier. It’s grand, it’s modern, and it would look amazing with everything else I chose for my dining space. I had originally declined a chandelier because I had my heart set on a different one and had already ordered it, but I kept coming back to this and knew it would be the icing on the cake!
