Story
Since it is the season of giving, I have decided to set up a fundraiser to help malnourished children In Africa have a happier, healthier 2019.
Malnourished children are missing key nutrients in their diets, which can hinder brain, bone, and immune system development. Most humanitarian food consists mainly of grain, such as corn, but may lack other essential nutrients necessary for healthy development.
Developed by nutritional scientists, vitameals provides malnourished children the correct ratios of nutrients, Vitamins and minerals including:
A balance of carbohydrates, protein, fat and fiber
Essential fatty acids required for normal brain development, skin health and immune defense
Electrolytes necessary for maintaining normal fluid balance and muscle function
Vitamin A, which is essential for normal sight and immune functions
Bone nutrients for normal growth and skeletal development
In addition, these vitameals are vegetarian and non-dairy and allows for the easy addition of ingredients to fit every taste and culture.
Each VitaMeal package contains 30 child-sized meals, or enough food to provide a child with one nutritious meal each day for a month.
1 bag = 1 month of food = £16
thats the same as your weekly coffee budget...
It isnt just a meal.
to gain access to these meals, the children have to go to school, which encourages them to get an education at the same time.
these meals are also made from local grains grown in Malawi which also improves the local economy and provides jobs for locals.
For only £16 one off payment, you could provide a child with food for a whole month. Don’t worry if you can‘t afford a whole bag, any donations are welcome to go towards a bag!
