Tanyel’s Smile is a charity very close to my heart. As many of you know Tanyel was such a sweet, kind, giving girl, who unfortunately lost her battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma on 9th January 2016, when she was just 20. As a childhood friend of Tanyel’s, I didn’t think something like this would ever happen to someone like her, and I think her illness became very real when she had to shave off all of her amazing curly hair. After her long fight with childhood cancer, Tanyel still inspires and helps many other young people who are suffering today, with her charity Tanyel’s Smile, which supports children and families of childhood cancer, that her wonderful parents have set up in her memory.    

I’m only fundraising till 22nd August, but any donations after this time will still be such a big help! I know I’ve not got long to hit my target, but really hope as many as you as possible will get behind me in raising a bit of money in memory of our Tanyel, and I promise to post before and afters!
