Back in the Day
Early 2000s
JP began sharing his raw vegan creations with the Ocean Beach People's Food Co-op and Ocean Beach Farmers Market.
2007
We opened our beloved cafe in Ocean Beach, where we became a staple for Obecians and Point Loma friends.
2011
To spread access to nutritious meals, we opened our second location in Leucadia, North County San Diego, and JP published uncookbook #1: This Is Raw.
2014
We were named Best Raw Restaurant and Best Eco-Raw Restaurant by Best of Raw Awards!
2018
JP revealed more of our raw tricks by publishing uncookbook #2: Fresh, Funky & Raw!
2019
We closed a chapter in North County, as our Leucadia location burned in a neighbor’s fire.
2023
San Diego Magazine helped us announce our North County comeback!
2024
The Peace Pies fam celebrated our Leucadia reopening, while Yelp ranked us #53 of the Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. We’re ready to spoil you with delicious food you can trust, every day of the week!
