Maple Stroopwafel Napoleon

Maple, mascarpone and coffee come together in this perfectly balanced Stroopwafel napoleon dessert. This recipe features Daelmans Maple Stroopwafel layered with mascarpone coffee cream, fresh berries and a drizzle of sweet maple syrup. A simple, quick and easy dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth and impress your guests!

  • 1 Box Daelmans Maple Stroopwafel
  • 1 Bag Daelmans Mini Caramel Stroopwafel
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chilled heavy cream
  • 6 teaspoons instant coffee or espresso powder
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer add in 8 ounces of slightly chilled mascarpone cheese, 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and 6 teaspoons of either instant coffee or espresso powder. Use the whisk attachment and whip on high until all ingredients are combined and creamy.

  2. Add in 1 cup of chilled heavy cream a little at a time. Continue to whip until cream thickens and begins to firm up around 2-3 minutes maximum. Be careful to not over whip, you want to have a light and fluffy textured cream.

  3. Place 2 Daelmans Maple Stroopwafels in the microwave for 10 seconds to warm and soften.

  4. Spoon coffee cream on the base layer stroopwafel and place raspberries and blueberries in a pattern around the edges. Repeat the same process for the second layer. Place Daelmans Mini Caramel Stroopwafel on top for decoration.

  5. Drizzle with maple syrup for added sweetness (optional).
