Midnight Madness. 🕛🤪 Why Because someone asked me today if you could use sharpies on canvas with rubbing alcohol like I did earlier with ceramic tiles. I didn’t know and I needed to unwind after a super busy day, so ta-da! 🤭🤣 So I prepped the lower right corner with white acrylic paint. I left the middle a plain prepared canvas (this is store bought), and the upper left I prepped with Gesso. I may have been a little over enthusiastic with the rubbing alcohol. 🤫 My table also has a bit of a tilt away from me (old houses). So as it dries the acyclic paint is becoming mottled and is peeling and the colors faded the most there. The gesso has a bit of the same problems if you touch it when wet but not as much once dry. (I’m too impatient to not stick a finger in it wet right now 😂). The plain canvas section is doing pretty good but the colors do mute some. This is an inexpensive canvas from Michael’s. Nothing soaked though and I can already touch the ink on the plain canvas part and go back in, add a little more sharpie, and brush on some rubbing alcohol to blend. Happy little experiment! 🙂🙃Creativity Project Day 14 of 100. 🎨 #experiment #youasked #sharpies #100dayproject #the100dayproject #dailycreativity #creativity #creativepractice #dailygoals #sharpieoncanvas #creativeexperiment #testrun
84. Spex Pistols 2
And here is my second illustration of @spexpistols @andywolfofficial modelled by @hayleywhelan . I played about with the background using similar colours and shapes but making it more abstract.
Wish I had more time on this one so I can be more attentive to all the fine details. Still, I loved my first attempt on a betta fish.
Day 92/100: Betta Fish
My #100dayproject goal: Just paint everyday! Do that for a hundred days.
Day 10 of #100daysofpattern. OMG 90 TO GO. What started as quite possibly the laziest idea when I realized I hadn't created my pattern for the day yet, (reaching for the closest thing I could find without getting up, which...lucky for me was an exacto knife and pad of paper) turned into something that I can't wait to dig into more. Freehand paper cut, snapped a pic, popped into photoshop and played around and had FUN.

Hey, everybody! I've been wanting to do a #100dayproject for a while now AND my favorite time of the year is quickly approaching...
🎃 7/23 to 10/31 = 100 days of Fall! .
Due to what some would consider "hoarding tendencies" I have an overwhelming amount of art supplies and fabric, including 50 blank canvases. Yeah, you read that right. My end goal is to have 50 not blank ones, as well as some fabric makes to share, sell or give away - with some personal photos and drawings in the mix as well.
I know it's still a million degrees and technically the middle of Summer, so I'm planning to lean into fall colors and flowers at first. I won't throw Apple Cider and Pumpkin Spice at you sun worshippers right away... .
I'm open to painting suggestions or requests (on the Fall/Autumn theme) and any encouragement or accountability is always welcome!
Also, I definitely recommend checking out the #100dayproject hashtag and especially @shecansew for inspiration or if you want to join me for the next few months! .
Wish me luck! 🎃🍁👻

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
--2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
I always hear this in church, "When Lord is with us, we fear nothing." But timid as I, I always get fear of something. What I do is I talk to Him, bring my fear to Him, and then pray. Let the spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind overcome the fear.

Day 100!!! I’m actually kind of sad. This was such a great motivator to just create something (almost) daily. ❤️❤️❤️
I will probably have to start some kind of new challenge now. 🤓🤓
Thank you all for following along. 😘

I decided to give myself a little challenge to get back to #drawing so I’m going to do my own little #100dayproject. Behold the #100daysoffungus. I’ll try to draw one mushroom every day for 100 days, let’s see how that goes (probably not too well as I get lazy lol). Today I present to you Lactarius indigo, the indigo milk cap #art #mushroom #mushrooms #copicmarkers #copicart #mycology #mycologyart #mushroomart
