First press of 2020! Yep, we are still pressing 2019s bountiful harvest. First on the pressing block, Hauer Pippin, a famous local apple discovered in 1892 in Aptos. These beauties come from the original Hauer estate in Pleasant Valley.

2019 was a doozy with some heartache😔but overall a gooder! we survived Olivia’s first year😆 I bought Fresh Hair🙌 We managed to get thru a overly stressful but successful Harvest. I lost my Oma😔 Shawns grandma survived breast cancer and a hip break at 97😬 We have been incredibly blessed from our first family trip to PV. to spring trips to the farm, and then our big move to Waskasiu for the summer, and more fall farm trips. We ended the year with our first trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲 I can not wait to see what we find ourselves up to In 2020🥳 work hard love Harder😘 #waskesiulake #weddinghair #elkridgeresort #exploremore #exploresaskatchewan #puertovallarta #montegobay #2019harvest #entrepreneurlife #newshop #gypsysoul
A new year, and a new day on Lily Hill. We have some beautiful images taken by Adam Decker of our 2019 harvest we will be sharing with you over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for some breathtaking pics and a behind-the-scenes look at Bella!
Normally, I would have called the 2019 garden done way before now and tallied up how much I grew. It’s been mild so far tho and I continued to harvest until yesterday. I’m carrying forward loads of kale, as well as carrots, beets and radishes into 2020. I managed to grow almost 145 pounds of food last year. Not as much as in past years, but I did a lot of experimenting and redid one huge bed. 2020 will feature more flowers, some new gizmos and lots of new plants. Time to buy some seeds and start planning!
Bringing in the New Year with some freshly trimmed bud. In the jar and ready for the cure! This Northern Cheese Haze looks and smells great. Very pleased with the trichome production. We'll get a final weight soon. Also, a first for me. I normally turn my trimmings into butter. This time I froze them, sifted them, then ran it through a grinder screen! Lastly, no matter what stage of your grow there is always something to learn. I've never dried my bud during the winter before. If you don't pay attention and you dry in a cool room with almost no humidity, it'll dry out quick. Thankfully I think we caught it in time.
Happy New Year's! Keep growing, stay lit. Here's to 2020!
