Pretty, colorful brush strokes for this beautiful sunny day! What’s everyone doing this weekend I am planning something super exciting for Valentine’s Day this year so stay tuned and check back tomorrow for the announcement! ✨✌🏻💖🌈
I have been following some brilliant painters for a while now here on Instagram and especially @louisedewegerartist work is amazing. That is why I am over the Moon about having commissioned a new piece of art with her. I am loving the freshness and cleanliness of her paintings.
And now I have to wait and be patient ;-) I have asked the piece to be ready in April since I will be celebrating my 10-year anniversary with my girlfriend in that month. Whoop whoop!
This would never have happend if I had not been so active on showing my own work on Instagram lately and improving my painting(s) process. Instagram has opened up much possibilities to look at what fellow painters do, how they work, read about their ‘concerns’ and learn from that. It is great! What was your last art buy .
Since we’ve been posting some of our new lilac and black jade work I decided today’s Friday color post is Lilac. Also called lavender jade, lilac jade’s purple saturation tones can vary a lot, so some are more vibrant than others. Apart from being a stunning stone, lilac jade also has properties such as promoting peace, serenity, harmony and empathy (a shift away from the 1800s use of the color). All the more reason to add some jade to your life! 💜
Have kiddos who refuse to eat salad, simply because it’s “salad”, yet they like everything that comes on a salad (except lettuce of course 🤷🏼♀️-lettuce is tough for littles!) .
Last year I tried to get our daughter to like salad, so I ventured out and tricked her by creating “Rainbow Bowls” 🌈...and y’all, that night it worked!! I need to implement this more, and may just do that this week!
The key 🔑 is asking kiddos to pick at least one something from every color of the rainbow. We put the toppings on a bed of spinach and quinoa and although she didn’t eat the spinach, she ate all the toppings and LOVED creating her own👊🏼!

Leaving @thesouthernc summit with a heart, head, and notebook full. From the real, applicable information in groups and panels, to the new relationships that were made, I can’t say enough about how I feel walking away from the summit. From simple realizations to big ideas that I hope will only help my work grow and position me to better serve my peeps well, I’m left overwhelmed with a sense of community that makes things feel so possible. Thankful for my pal/roommate/inspiration/sounding board this week @dorothy_shain and for all the fun and encouragement that came along with the healthy dose of much needed hospitality, vitamin D and salty air via @sea_island... 2019, You gonna be good. 💛 #tscsummit
👉🏻 Shots of my favorite Icelandic winter views 📸 Black lava rocks popping through the snow, topped with a blend of pinks, yellows, and blues 🌅 I’m working on a new series with this in mind and can’t wait to share 💫 Have a great weekend and remember to stop and soak in the beauty ❤️
I love all colors but pink is not a color have choosen alot in my environment (except in flowers 🌸) but lately I [email protected]more drawn to this frequency. I sense it as a frequency of love - hahah i think of rosy glasses - but deeper it’s an innocence a very vulnerable innocence. It’s very heart opening. And I have not felt it that much in a while. So I guess this is my soul leading me back to open up to this frequency of innocent love 💗 as a base tone of the universe!
May you receive this transmission as I am receiving it now through my bouquet of roses here. 💓
