Picture from my flight from Portugal back to Germany. In the past I would always be sad and restless once I returned. This time whatsever, even tho there is more uncertainty than ever before, I am completly calm. I enjoy the moments as they come and have this fundamental trust, that everything will turn out fine.
After this crazy crazy year with plenty of ups and downs, a lot of heartbreak, fear and mental health issues, I can say that I am truly happy right now. I have no idea what will happen next and that is okay. Right now, in this moment, everything is perfect.
If you are struggeling right now, please know, that everything is temporary, even the heaviest and hardest moments in your life. They might leave scars, they might take forever to heal and you might experience this (or its echo) again in the future. This is not failure and this is not forever. Bad moments and phases are valid and important to grow and heal (and yes, sometimes they just suck), as are the happy ones. Life changes. You change. Better days will come. Dont give up. 💚

Back to the past! That picture shows the Place Lakanal in 1911, called today the Place Championnet. A former rural district located in an area of military servitude, the Championnet district only became urban at the very beginning of the 20th century. It features a beautiful set of old buildings with wrought iron balconies and facades decorated with molded cement. Championnet spreads a pleasant village spirit with neat local shops, grocery stores and restaurants/bars. #France #Grenoble #Relocation #PlaceChampionnet #History
