Happy Malcolm X day As I see people reposting #PamelaTurner my heart hurts. Its like being black we supposed to be killed posting us always being victimized. I want to say get your concealed get your guns up prepare for the #defense of your life and your love ones. I can't even put in the mindset a woman telling me she is pregnant and pulling the trigger 5 times. If we close, chances are your already prepped. I dont expect my friends or stranger to record me getting my ass whipped by the police or murdered; and they already know #porkpussy aint getting no special treatment if Im around. I'm a law abiding citizen and have nothing to talk about. Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery. #Malcolm X #Amen
A lot of coffee, and a little reading💡@solodefense
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou the living water
Jesus stopped by a parcel of ground that Jacob gave his son Joseph. Wearied, there he sat on the well. Jesus deliberately took this route through Samaria to get to Galilee. Normally the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
There cometh a woman to the well at the sixth hour of the day. Undoubtedly to miss the religious gossip society that commonly visited the well early. We have all been there when we timed our journeys to miss the local coffee shop talk. Conveniently avoiding all the extra-curricular discussion we have learned we can live without.
Jesus asked of her a drink. She said, “How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria” Jesus replied, “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” With the well being deep seeing that Jesus had nothing to draw with, she asked the question, “How can you give me water when you have nothing to draw with” This raises the question: “Does Jesus have anything to draw with” Scripture tells us no man comes to the Father lest the Spirit draw him. Seeing then today’s visit was not about her drawing water from Jacob’s well for Jesus, but about him drawing her to the well of living water.
Like the woman at the well we focus on what we see as a disadvantage for Jesus, not realizing our help is not what he needs. He is showing us that he has the answer for our circumstance.
Our prayer for you this week: May the spirit of our Lord and Savior draw you into a relationship with him.
