It’s Monday Motivation! Motivation is a huge part of success. Without it, it’s much harder, if not impossible, to take action. The first step to any change is getting yourself motivated. ⠀
This week we are talking all about celebrating our growth. ⠀
When we celebrate our growth, it gives us a chance to reflect on how far we've come. It can be eye-opening to actually consider the changes you've made all at once. It can give you a bird's eye view of where you've been, as well as where you are heading. Taking the time to notice what is going well in your life can really drive home how many things there are in life to celebrate. Instead of keeping our heads down and working nonstop toward our goals, we can appreciate the little joys that are a part of the journey.⠀
Another aspect of celebrating our growth is realizing that progress never really ends. You've probably experienced this: you set a goal, reach it, and then set another. Our goals are constantly evolving, so waiting until we've achieved them all to celebrate means we might never get a chance. When you get caught up in the hustle to move toward your next goal, give yourself permission to celebrate the growth you've already achieved. ⠀
Remember to value your progress, instead of chasing perfection. ⠀
Write it down as a reminder. When you find your motivation wavering, read your motivation reminder and tap back into what is driving you to work on celebrating your growth. ⠀

These days I struggle with some characteristics of mine as always. Always I have something to figure out. Sometimes I am more stressed than usual, sometimes I am lazy and every time there has to be "something". Now I have this urge to do nothing (I am not even depressed) and when I make plans I bail on them a few seconds after. Even today a company whose position I applied for called and I didn't respond the call. I don't know who I am at this stage.
Also I have recently problem with my weight. I gained too much weight and I need to get rid of most of it asap. It seems hard to do as I am not physically active and doing nothing for that.
These don't sound cool topics to talk about but I need to open up. Because I feel like failure and I have never been in a position where I feel like I don't have control over my actions. I don't know maybe all these things above are form of addiction or "laziness". I don't want to be a drama queen but it is really hard to change these and change your actions. Change your thoughts.

We might not always have the words to express ourselves, and that's alright. ⠀
To continue to series on anxiety education, here are common fears that come up in relationships 💛
✅The good news is that with awareness, we can practice noticing when these anxieties pop up in our daily life, pause, and do something to regulate our emotions and proceed in an intentional way.
✅Mindfulness & meditation practices are concrete exercises to grow these “awareness” and “pausing” muscles.

Time for dinner and bed. Travelling is wiping me out mentally.
I had a mini panic attack driving over the Dartford crossing. Driving over huge bridges used to always freak me out but I thought I had mostly gotten over it. Not today, I think the dark and having been stopped in traffic for 20 minutes on the bridge too didn't help. But finally at the hotel so I'll eat, have a relaxing shower, meditate and then read in bed before doing it all again tomorrow 😁

I know, I know, it’s only November, but I’m working on a piece for the newspaper on how to make Christmas 2019 your best, most fun, calm and peaceful family Christmas ever and I would love to hear from you! What helps you and your family to have a wonderful Christmas break What are your favourite traditions that you want to pass on to your children and grandchildren What are the issues you face with this What questions would you like me to answer in my newspaper piece Thanks!
PS I'm thinking of the whole two week break from school, not just the big day.
