Finished up this new Fabricated pendant this afternoon. It features a tabular Golden Imperial Topaz from Brazil set in Sterling silver. The piece itself has alot of depth that's hard to capture but it is available and I'd love to hear your thoughts 😊 #topaz #imperialtopaz #brazil #handmadejewelry #handcrafted
Indian Bend wash, painting of the day. Wash was full of water from the rains. I loved the shadows and the blues!
Some of the amazing work from our International Women’s Day exhibition that is available to purchase! The exhibition runs until the end of March- make sure you get a chance to visit the gallery and view the beautiful range up close ✨
Part of my art practice is challenging myself to push out of my comfort zone and explore new techniques, colours and applications. This last week has seen me swing from one frustration to another. Just as I feel I have found my direction I have a niggle to try something new. It is the curse and the cure. I play, I create and I walk away. Most often I know beforehand what I want to create - and what appears is nothing like I envisaged. But each step leads to the bettering of my application. Sometimes I have to try something different to either move in a new direction or reassure myself I am doing my best work in my currently phase. This week has been about reassurance as well as transitioning to an increased excitement about the use of texture in my work. Mixing up my mediums and adding new techniques through these apparent ‘failure’ paintings. Each failure is in fact a lesson. I now have a brand new methodology for the application of inks that I would never have dared try without this week of joyful abandonment of my own rules. All I can say is there is too much amazing art on IG - it inspires and confuses me. I want it all!!
Currently in my final sculpting class so I’ve been working on a couple of things throughout the semester. This assignment was wire themed &sculpting things out of wire is always so fun 🖤 here’s a little scully
She is a few fine hairs away from being finished. Yes.. it’s taken me quite a while to finish her up as I started her in February with reference model @ellyeah (one of the most hilarious & strong women ive never met!!) in mind. But I’m super stoked about this one. She will be shown in the “Healing” exhibit along with two others of mine that will be open during the first week of April! Details will be posted up soon. So stoked ✨

Added another pinecone drawing to the abandoned sketch book this week that was much more complex than my first. (Shadows from two light sources, highlights reflected on the page, and different hues in the shadows)
I'm learning a lot about coloured pencils which is essential for practice before I begin a major project in the coming months. This drawing has multiple layers of colour which I've discovered can be scrapped away with an exacto to reveal the colour planted underneath - much like a painting. These small drawings are a great way to learn new techniques through trial and error to move forward and enhance your skill set. If you're interested in seeing this type of technique let me know and I'll post a video.
Oh hai pretty. Steer scull sticker 🐂 if you know me I’m obsessed with drawing sculls whether they be steer, ram, goat or human 💀 idk where this interest came from but I have them every where in my house with out looking like a total witches lair (not that there’s anything wrong w/that) 🔮✨🖤. Super excited to be starting finally my paintings for March while finishing up Februaries in time to get it ready for its gallery exhibition next month. I found 2 little golden frames at the thrift store & I can’t wait to paint little treasures on them! ✨
