Collaborating with other artists and helping creative communities grow is and always has been where my heart is happiest. That’s why I’m restructuring a percentage of my income from client commission work to go directly into funding the work I do within my community. You hire me, you help growth happen within local art communities- doesn’t that sound LOVELY
I’ll get down to the details with you later this month but until now enjoy this very festive photo of @smith.design.atelier from @giftshopatoakstreetplace from my time with her last December featuring a record by @thedecemberists.
Painting in progress! So this is an example of how the process of artistic experimentation leads one down unexpected paths. I had painted a wonderful light blue/white background and for weeks didn’t know what to do next. Finally inspiration struck and I painted for a couple hours until I felt I had something unique and amongst my best. Yet I had to make one last “fix”, and that spiraled out of control - and the original painting “ruined”. So this painting is not that, just what came out as a side effect, and still needs some layers. Maybe I can recreate the magic again, but for now have to go down another path. I don’t think I’ll ever learn about the right moment to stop, I just have to accept the process for what it is. #acrylicpainting #artprocess #drippainting #pakistaniartists #artistsoninstagram
Oh hey! 👋 Beet paint 🙃 being weird. Backstory: we have this amazing neighbor. She has an amazing garden. She is always giving us beets and I don’t have the heart to tell her that we’re not big fans (I tryyyy, I really do, but beets taste like straight dirt to me 🤮) and so when she brings them by I usually pass them on to friends... 🙈 ...friends who like the taste of dirt. I guess. LIVING A LIE, here. Anyway, kids and I have talked about doing this for a while, the beet paint. They (kids) ended up being thrilled that grated beets pushed through cheesecloth look so deceptively gory (🙄ew) but then quickly lost interest in painting with a single color. Fair enough. :) I’ve long admired @etc.mei ‘s geometric watercolor work and went slightly that route (nowhere near or even attempting her precision of course). Only to ruin the whole thing (I think...maybe...still playing) by turning it into a bunch of flowers. 👍😃😵 ‘cause...I’m a little too flower happy these days. All good. The color is really rad, right! Explore-iments are fun....and I have pleeeenty of pigment left to try again 😉 (a note on @etc.mei who has given up painting for now — whatever compels you to art, I recognize you don’t have to share and I think we all have moments where we’re like “what am I doing on here” But you have no idea who you inspire or how or when and I just want you to know that I, for one, am glad for the sharing. 🙃 the courage to share your gifts is appreciated, even if the likes and comments or whatever other discernible (and arguably stupid) metrics don’t always make their way to you. ❤️)
Work in progress from home as I visit family, painting a collage in a large scale that I haven’t done before! I’m excited to see this come together. Thanks for the pics from home @username_sauce ❤️
What a statement! Don't you love it ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It sounds like a spiritual process that the art lover and the artist share in - the creation connecting the creator with the observers. ... #artistonig, #artistry_vision, #artist_sharing, #artistofinsta, #artist_features, #artistry_flair, #artiststudio, #everythingimaginable, #todaysartreport, #abstractart_daily, #artprocess, #paintingprocess, #australianartist, #australianartists, #australianart, #sydneyartist, #sydneyart, #energyart, #contemporaryartwork, #womeninart, #artforyourhome, #visionaryartist,
I decided that since my bird is a work of fiction, so to would be my colour scheme.

Cheers to the last weekend before school starts! 🙌🏼 Can’t wait to meet all my new babies. Tell me something exciting you’re doing because I will be doing laundry so I look like a real person next week!!
Resin can be like street art with layers, depending on what you do, what is underneath can be lost, I've kind of poured over this now so all I have are the photos ♡ Made with Glasscoat from @shamrockaustralia ♡
A little Sunday pour, feel the panic in this video when I spin the lazy suzie and resin falls out 😂🙈 Just scoop it back in! Can't wait to demould 💙💙💙💙💙
This was a panic pour; Panic pour being that I was pouring something else then the temperature in the room is hotter than usual and the resin is starting to set and then shiiiiiiit so much resin left over and no colour mixed in, bit of turquoise bit of emerald and voila = panic pour / Sea Grass Green 😂 I dont mind it though 💚
I survived my meeting!!!! Shocker!!! ...Didnt die... didnt get laughed at... Now its wine time!!!! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
New found appreciation for ceramic/clay artists.. I used my hands for a stupid amount of time before I switched to a paddle pop stick, I feel like I have a broken thumb today 🙈
This video is part 1 of 2 as I’ve run out of silicone 🙈🙈 I’ve used clay to give the resin a matte finish & in the photo it shows the left over silicone cut up to fill in the space a bit! Use every last drop!!! #WhatWillItBe
