Hold on tight! It's nearly the weekend!
Me and my nephew. His name is Little Guy.
A goanna is any of several Australian monitor lizards of the genus Varanus, as well as certain species from Southeast Asia. The goanna features prominently in Aboriginal mythology and Australian folklore.
Goannas combine predatory and scavenging behaviours. A goanna will prey on any animal it can catch and is small enough to eat whole. Goannas have been blamed for the death of sheep by farmers, though most likely erroneously, as goannas are also eaters of carrion and are attracted to rotting meat.

Goannas combinano comportamenti predatori e scavenging.

Before turning into a ball...echidnas roll up tightly for defense and only the brave or foolhardy would antagonise them.
But cars and echidnas don't go well together so I became the antagonist and pushed him off the road.

All week I have been trying to recreate this digital drawing I did into a watercolour. I have run out of hot pressed paper, so went back to what I had... cold pressed. Long story short, I suck, and cannot for the life of me get the colours right when I watercolour this gorgeous bird. I’m happy with the digital! But, I really wanted to make a watercolour. Once I get my stash of hot pressed paper I’ll give it a crack. I will not be defeated! In the meantime, enjoy this cheeky frosted red tailed cockatoo. Which sounds odd considering I drew from his body up which is black and yellow... eh, Aussie birds. They’re weird. I promise their tails are indeed red 😂🎨❤️
Here I'm distinguishing the border of the white part on the magpie's nape. This will let me work on the dark part beneath it without worrying about creeping up too far and making it the wrong shape or too small. Since I have to go back later and make that edge more precise by adding fine details, it's important I do this first to minimise the risk of going too far with the dark colours.

Diesel is a beautifully handsome boy with golden yellow eyes that stare right into your soul.
He is a loving and affectionate dingo that loves cuddles and adores time spent with humans 💓
Diesel loves his walks and the attention that he gets along the way. He has a smile from ear to ear when people stop to meet him and give him a pat 🐾
Diesel cannot go past a chest scratch. He will put his paw on your hand to lower it to the desired position 😂
Diesel has learnt to paw (left) and shake (right) and can also lie down and roll, he loves doing tricks for rewards and recieving praise, it makes him very happy 😍
Everyone that meets Diesel say that he is an old soul, he has a very wise face and knowing stare
Diesel would best suit a home where he is the centre of attention. He needs a strong lead to guide him. He is in excellent health with all vet work up-to-date 🐺

Hello there 👋🏻I haven’t posted in a while sorry 😬 But i’ll be posting again soon hopefully!! I took this picture of a house sparrow at the school garden at lunchtime. I find these little ones so cute!! Although they are introduced, i still do love them:) The house sparrow (Passer domesticus) is a bird of the sparrow family Passeridae, found in most parts of the world. A small bird, it has a typical length of 16 cm (6.3 in) and a mass of 24–39.5 g (0.85–1.39 oz). Females and young birds are coloured pale brown and grey, and males have brighter black, white, and brown markings. One of about 25 species in the genus Passer, the house sparrow is native to most of Europe, the Mediterranean Basin, and much of Asia. Its intentional or accidental introductions to many regions, including parts of Australia, Africa, and the Americas, make it the most widely distributed wild bird. As much as you all know about these common birds, it’s still nice to share with you some information about them 😃 -

Tiny little Silver Eye all fluffed up after a bath. That old chipped serving bowl is the little birds favourite as it’s shallow enough for them to stand in and really go for it. You can never have enough bird baths in your garden! (Unless you have cats that is)
Stephen’s Banded Snake (Hoplocephalus stephensii), spotted crossing a rainforest track on the NSW central coast last summer. Starting to miss the hot weather right about now!

Out of the ten species of Tree Kangaroo's, two are found in northern Queensland. Sadly the Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo found near Cairns is facing extinction. This is due to a large number of Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo's going blind, cause by Toxoplasmosis. A disease that's spread by cats, this is one of many reasons why cat should not be left to roam outside. Lets become responsible cat owner and protect our wildlife.
On another note, tonight is the last night to buy tickets for TRIVIA FOR TREE ROOS, which is on tomorrow night. With over 150 tickets already sold, it’s going to an amazing night raising money for the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program.
